Our Team

Dave Trudeau

Dave Trudeau is the President and CEO of Clear-Armor LLC which has under its purview Clear-Armor security and bullet resistant laminates and glass, TruArmor vehicle armor, TruViking

OEM car windows and TruTrauma, which found their birth out of his innovation and persistence of wanting to improve security and safety for those who we love most, family, friends and associates. Dave’s drive to create and build started at an early age in the construction industry. He was
sought out by many in the North of Illinois area to have work performed or lead by him. His construction knowledge and tenacity made him to one day to build his own home. One piece at a time, problem solving along the way and learning new things, a year after he begun, he had
built a beautiful and spacious home for his family, which was paid off just like all his businesses the moment he laid the last brick.

As a self-made businessman and entrepreneur, Dave has brought new ideas to the world of Security, Safety and Consulting. He has invented or improved many products in the glass or window industry, and proved to others in the business that with passion, persistence and purpose you can create master pieces. His ideas and innovation come from constantly reading, educating and asking why and how, in order to improve processes and products.

His success has helped him give back by partnering with multiple non-profit foundations providing assistance to those in need, and without financial resources. First and foremost, Dave values God, family, honesty and patriotism. These values push Dave to serve those around him and triumph over the evils in today’s society.

Dave’s favorite quote: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” Edmund Burke. He is proactive, involved and intentional about the safety and protection of life by means of his products, training programs, and constant drive to protect those you love most, families.

Alex Trudeau

Alex is the Chief Operating Officer of Clear-Armor LLC which overseas Clear-Armor security laminates, TruArmor, TruViking and TruTrauma.

As an Eagle Scout Alex learned at an early age that on his honor he will do his best to always serve God and country, to help other people at all times. That he will keep physically
strong, mentally awake, and morally straight in order to be the best version of him always. These qualities were forged early in his life and have led him to be a role model, mentor and leader of one of the most innovative companies in the country.

Since middle school Alex learned what it is to earn your keep every day. His first job was in construction helping his dad, and that was no easy task. It is then that no matter what the job he understood that attitude will make the difference on how you perform, believing that “the
only way to do great work, is to love what you do.”
That is a quality that he has carried over into Clear-Armor for close to a decade, and he can truly say that he loves what he does.

In his time with the company he has installed, and lead the installation of hundreds of thousands of square feet of security laminate and bullet resistant laminates placed in client’s homes, offices, state and federal buildings across the country. His attention to detail and professionalism on the job has rewarded the company with multiple contracts around the nation.

The number of square feet installed is nothing compared to the type of relationships he builds with clients. He feels that providing a service is not just installing a product, but making time available to teach the client about the product, guide them with safety/security knowledge to provide a piece of mind at home or at the workplace.

He feels most strong about the lasting relationships Clear-Armor has earned throughout his time on jobs with school staff and leadership all over the country, as well as law enforcement communities and the level of confidence and known support they feel after providing our services.

These relationships bring us together to continue to innovate and expand not only the type of products we offer but our ability to truly make a safer community for all.
